Basic lodge offering bungalow-style cabins joined by elevated walkways, a base from which to enjoy wildlife spotting and visits to indigenous communities.

The basic Mis Palafitos Lodge, reached by motorised canoe, offers excursions to view the abundant birds and animals of the Orinoco Delta and visit some of the indigenous communities who live in stilt villages along the water’s edge.

There are 50 simple rooms and one suite in bungalow-style accommodation, each joined by a network of elevated plank walkways. Rooms have private bathroom but no hot water. There is also a reception and restaurant area. There are guided morning and afternoon excursions by boat and on foot through the delta’s vast network or mangroves and creeks, as well as opportunities to fish for piranha.

What our clients say

97% of our clients rated their experience with us as Excellent or Good.

All rather basic but we really loved it here. Maybe even just a fan in room would have helped.  No beer :( but cheap and plentiful cuba libres!
