No more than 40 guests will be on board the Aqua Nera, joining sister vessel the Aria Amazon and introducing a new level of luxury to Amazon river cruising. The sense of space throughout is enhanced by floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows but is by no means an illusion on this elegant vessel where every suite measures an impressive 30 sqm.

The Pacaya Samiria Reserve, on the headwaters of the Amazon basin, spans more than five million acres and teems with wildlife and aquatic life. Endangered pink Amazon dolphin, black caiman and three-toed sloth are among the signature species of this far-flung corner of Peru. You’re not cocooned from nature: a fleet of four launches will take you on daily excursions down the river, accompanied by expert naturalist guides as you explore the small inlets and winding river systems of the flooded forest.

Back on board, downtime is relaxed. Soak in the plunge pool on the top deck, enjoy a spa treatment or perhaps a gentle work-out in the gym. Retire to the ample, panoramic lounge-bar to unwind or head outside to the observation decks and watch the Amazon sunset.

A new level of luxury to river cruising in the Peruvian Amazon

To set sail along the rivers and channels of this immense ecosystem is always a privilege. To do it in the utmost style is an absolute treat.
