Atmospheric first class hotel with a magical island location on Lake Titicaca, connected to the shore by a narrow causeway.

The first class GHL Hotel Lago Titicaca (formerly Libertador) sits in an atmospheric location, on an island linked by a narrow causeway to the shores of Lake Titicaca.  Its situation gives the property its magical quality, although the excellent facilities and sophisticated restaurant are also primary attractions.

Guestrooms all have views over the cobalt waters of the lake, either towards the lively port and University town of Puno, just a short drive away, or to islands across the water – even the gym and Jacuzzi have lake views. Sunrise and sunset are spectacular.

The rooms are decorated in muted creamy colours and are well-equipped and luxuriously furnished. The restaurant is the best in town and its prices reflect this, but it won't disappoint.
