OUR GUIDE TO the weather in the Lima
It almost never rains in Lima, and temperatures are moderate year round, although the city is shrouded in a dull grey mist (garúa) from May to October. The sun does break through between November and March when happy limeños spill out onto the pavement bars, ice cream parlours and beaches. Visitors in October are likely to notice many women wearing purple to mark the Señor de los Milagros celebrations, which culminate in large religious processions towards the end of the month.
