Hotel Los Ninos
Warmly welcoming, community-focused guesthouse whose proceeds support a grass-roots charity that provides sanitation, sustenance and medical assistance to the city's neglected children.
Located in a quiet street close to Cusco’s Plaza de Armas, the community-focused Hotel Los Ninos is a very special place to stay. Its Dutch proprietor established the hotel in the 90s in order to raise funds to support her charity Niños Foundation, which aims to provide 500 extremely neglected children in the city with sanitation, hot food, dental and medical assistance as well as help with their education.
It's a modest but clean and neat property in a 300-year-old colonial building. There’s a large patio where home cooked meals are served. Decoration is minimalist, with photographs of smiling children that have benefitted from the charity's work adorning the walls. Guests frequently comment very favourably about the warm welcome they receive here.
What our clients say
97% of our clients rated their experience with us as Excellent or Good.
"A bit more basic, but comfortable. The restaurant did not open for breakfast until 6.15 which was not good when we were due to be picked up at 6.20 to go to the bus terminal for 10 hour trip to Puno. Restaurant food in the evening fine."JT,Worcester
"Ninos hotel was perfectly simple. The building is beautiful and the staff were very helpful. The location is great as is the food in the restaurant. The rooms are basic but have portable heaters and lovely decoration. This is a very authentic feeling hotel. The hot water was very reliable."KF, Reading
