La Mansion Casa

Our Ratings

La Mansion Casa

La Mansion Casa is a typical mid-range hotel in the Andean town Andahuaylas with simple guest rooms and a cafeteria.

Established in 2012, this is a modern hotel which genuflects to Peru’s colonial style with white-washed walls, little balconies and tiled roofs, comprising a building set in a flowery garden with a sunny aspect.  Polished wood and gleaming tiles add to the bright and cheery ambiance.

The guest rooms are compact, neat and light but the fabrics rather chinzy reflecting traditional Peruvian taste – don’t be surprised if you find some towel art on your bed! The public areas are more modern with bold colours and glass table tops, and other decorations refer to aspects of Peruvian culture.

The basic comforts – heating and private bathroom with hot shower – are present, as is a laundry service, parking and cafeteria, and complimentary Wifi is available.

A lovely hotel, full of character but modernised with a view to taste and comfort. Very helpful and friendly staff - and many of the most interesting areas of the city within easy walking distance. we loved the sun terraces at the back of the hotel.
