Rustically styled lodge in a beautiful riverside location, with its own thermal baths and a cosy atmosphere that places an emphasis on relaxation.

The rustically styled Colca Lodge has a stunning location among ancient terraces on the banks of the River Colca. It’s 165km from Arequipa by scenic road up towards the Andes, sheltered in a sunny valley perfect for exploration on foot or even on horseback.

The modest-looking thatched stone cottages belie a higher degree of comfort and quality once inside. Beautifully crafted wooden and stone furnishings inspired by Inca artefacts create a cosy atmosphere with an emphasis on relaxation. There's an attractive restaurant serving up an Andean-inspired fusion menu.

The area is rich in hot springs, but this hotel is the only property to have its own thermal baths on the property. Other activities which can be arranged include trekking, biking, rafting and visits to Inca sites.

What our clients say

97% of our clients rated their experience with us as Excellent or Good.

Impressive hotel

“The position of Colca Lodge was spectacular even after a 5/6 mile dirt track road. We were very impressed with this hotel and we had lovely big twin beds in a rustically decorated bedroom with a pristine bathroom. (This was the theme in nearly all of the hotels you chose for us and generally we were very impressed with them.) Each room had a thatched roof and its own little terrace and you fell asleep to the roar of the Colca River at the bottom of the garden. There are also thermal springs and a health spa. The visit to Colca Canyon is along dirt track roads but worth every bump and knock and the sight of the condors flying over our heads is worth it.”
