OUR GUIDE TO the weather in the Copper Canyon
The seemingly endless Copper Canyon cuts a swathe through the barren desert, offering views of some of the continent's most spectacular mountain scenery. Evenings here can get very chilly, particularly between January - February, and deep snow is common at high altitudes between November and March. Temperatures vary greatly in the desert: June is the hottest month which spikes at 40°C, while December can drop below zero.
