Villa Colonial
Lovely, popular hotel with a residential feel, mimicking colonial street architecture. Pastel colours and a large tropical courtyard with fountains and a pool complete the scene.
The lovely, popular Villa Colonial is on a quiet, tree-lined street, within easy walking distance of Antigua's main square.
True to its name, the building lies behind a colonial façade, centred on a large tropical courtyard garden with fountains. The buildings are attractively painted in soft pastel colours, and it feels like staying in a peaceful village within a town - part of the hotel is designed to look like a colonial street with rooms on either side.
Set on two floors, the simply decorated rooms have tiled floors, private bathrooms and either a shared balcony or patio. The hotel has a pleasant restaurant, a bar and a swimming pool in the large garden.
