One of the larger ships cruising the Galápagos, the Silver Galápagos offers a more stable voyage than a smaller vessel and is a good choice for those prone to sea sickness. Its 100 passengers are well looked after by over 70 crew members, and enjoy plenty of space and things to do on board.
The air-conditioned suites are distributed over five decks. Many have private balconies and all have views to the outside, so you can watch the world go by from the comfort of your cabin. All cabins are junior-suite style with sofas. Bringing together the advantages of a traditional cruise ship and an expeditionary vessel, the Silver Galápagos also provides a wide range of facilities including a piano bar, gym, small pool, an outdoor hot tub, a solarium and a massage suite. The décor throughout is stylish and elegant, characterised by soft, neutral tones.
Wetsuits and snorkelling equipment are available on board. Excursions are led by knowledgeable naturalist guides, and due to the larger number of passengers, groups can be split by interest and ability to allow you to enjoy the on-shore excursions best suited to you.
