Sea Star Journey
Small luxury motor yacht offering sleek and stylish on board spaces, from its well-equipped cabins to the sundeck with two Jacuzzis.
The Galapagos Sea Star journey (formerly Grand Odyssey) is one of the newer additions to our portfolio of small luxury motor yachts cruising the Galápagos archipelago. Its designers have foresworn the sailor-blue décor of similar vessels to come up with a yacht defined by sleek lines and light, fresh spaces. They've also steered clear of an overly hotel-like feel: contemporary blond wood and chrome furniture, offset by subtle cream and soft brown fabrics, simply create a spacious, uncluttered ambience.
There are eight cabins, composed of twin and matrimonial suites and a larger Odyssey suite perfect for those celebrating special occasions. There are also connecting cabins for families. Each has wall-to wall windows, bathroom and adjustable air-conditioning.
The dining room is informal but smart in a rather cool, business-like way, and replete with glossy surfaces, while the salon offers comfy armchairs and a mini library, plus a play area for children on family departures. The part-shaded sun deck houses two Jacuzzis and sun loungers to relax in. Snorkelling and kayaking equipment is available at no extra charge.
What our clients say
97% of our clients rated their experience with us as Excellent or Good.
A palatial cabin bigger than most hotel rooms; crew were very helpful and careful, e.g. over safety, and very considerate to me as a non-swimming, non-snorkelling, non-kayaking guest, giving me beach visits and an extra dinghy trip while others were more strenuously engaged. Food was plentiful and high-quality. Onboard drinks were expensive.RD, Harrow
“The boat, luxurious rooms, food and staff were excellent. Wines (extra) are adequate."SC, Norwich
“The cruise trip itself was really good with good naturalist and crews on board along with great activities”YC, Borough
"The Galapagos boat exceeded our expectations. We had a large room with a good bathroom. All the meals were excellent."KK, Middlewich
"The wildlife in Galapagos was what we went for and we were not disappointed."
