Family-run La Casa de Marita is a welcoming, homely hotel right on the shores of a beautiful white sand beach and within easy reach of Isabela's main town, Puerto Villamil.

The intimate and welcoming La Casa de Marita on Isabela Island is owned by Peruvian Marita and her Italian husband. It has a tranquil location next to a pretty crescent-shaped beach of dazzling white sand and turquoise seas, a short walk away from the town of Puerto Villamil with its shops and simple restaurants.

The rooms are individually decorated and vary from plain and unfussy to vividly colourful. Some have sea views; all are homely, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Communal areas of the hotel are adorned with folk art and have a warm and convivial ambience, and there's a restaurant and a garden strung with inviting hammocks.

What our clients say

97% of our clients rated their experience with us as Excellent or Good.

We didn't spend much time here - arriving late and leaving early - but what we saw was lovely though our room was pretty noisy - the air con made a racket so we opted for windows open and street noise instead!
