Atmospheric small colonial-style hotel with many original features and an upmarket rustic feel in the traditional town of Ataco.

The rustic, homely Casa Degraciela has been in the same family for over 150 years.  It’s a small but atmospheric upmarket bed-and-breakfast hotel evoking the rural life of the 19th century, with antiques, wooden rocking chairs and old family photographs scattered throughout.  The property is in the centre of Concepción de Ataco, convenient for this pleasant Spanish colonial town’s facilities, craft-shops and market but has nevertheless offering guests a peaceful ambience.

The original owners’ private bedrooms are among the five guest rooms and suites now available for visitors. There's tons of atmosphere here; the buildings have retained many original features featuring brick and tile, with heavy wooden furniture beloved of the designers of the Spanish colonial era.  There's a pleasant terrace, library and pool room but no restaurant. The staff are highly praised for their friendliness and attentive service.

What our clients say

97% of our clients rated their experience with us as Excellent or Good.

Beautiful little boutique hotel in an old villa, still owned by the original family. Breakfast choices a little constrained - would suggest they allow more freedom to choose combinations from the available items. Also menu states it comes with coffee OR juice (in practice they brought both).
