Rustic, cheerful and easily accessible lodge of thatched wooden bungalows, with an observation platform and canopy walkway.

The cheerful and easily accessible Sacha Lodge is two hours by motorised canoe from the river port of Coca. Disembark at Sacha's extensive private reserve to follow a raised walkway across the flooded palm forest, before paddling across a black water lagoon to reach the lodge.

Accommodation is in thatched wooden bungalows, each with two bright, airy rooms and a shady terrace. The style is rustic, blending harmoniously with the natural environment.

As well as a small look-out tower on the top of the thatched block housing the open-sided restaurant, there's a 45m observation platform and a 300m canopy walkway – a great place to be at sunrise, watching out for toucans, macaws and monkeys. In July 2016 a tree top walkway connecting 5 observation platforms below the tree canopy was added to enhance your intimate contact with the wildlife even more.

What our clients say

97% of our clients rated their experience with us as Excellent or Good.

No brochure or website can prepare you for this Lodge. The setting is dramatic and peaceful with changing views throughout the day and interesting birds and animals to look out for. There was ample space for everyone at mealtimes and opportunities to meet up with other guests ....
