Grand, well-appointed hotel with spacious rooms and suites and a sumptuous decorative style recalling 19th century France.
This grand, well-appointed Hotel Carvello occupies a restored house right in the heart of historic Cuenca. While meeting modern standards of luxury, the opulent décor of its rooms and suites recalls 19th century France. Characteristic features of the interior design include elegantly draped linens, elaborate ceiling designs and polished wood furniture, while paintings and antiques make each room feel unique.
Some have wonderful views over the city, others over the striking internal courtyard which is impressively bedecked with reams of white cotton tapering down into spirals around the wooden columns. Only breakfast is served, but the hotel is paired with a restaurant across the street and there are plenty of other nearby dining options to choose from.
