Colonial-style Hosteria La Andalusa is situated on a hacienda in the shadow of Chimborazo volcano, an excellent base for visits to the Avenue of the Volcanoes.

The hacienda upon which Hosteria Andaluza is situated, in the shadow of the snow-mantled volcano Chimborazo, was founded in the sixteenth century, and the hosteria itself harks back to Spanish colonial times with low level, heavily tiled buildings featuring beams and rustic décor.

It’s a warm, cosy place, with golden ochre décor, woollen rugs, polished wood furnishings and wood burning stoves.  Traditional colonial-inspired ornaments, paintings and antique-style furnishings are complemented with contemporary facilities such as modern central heating, flat screen TVs, Wifi and fluffy duvets.

Rustic it may be but it’s a full service property with conference facilities, a breakfast room and separate dining room serving Ecuadorian and international specialities. There’s an attractive bar, and other amenities include massages, a games room and children’s playground. Horse-riding can be arranged.
