OUR GUIDE TO the weather in the Las Terrazas
This UNESCO biosphere reserve bursts with tropical flora and fauna, hidden lakes, gurgling streams and winding footpaths. Rainfall and cloud cover is more frequent here than other parts of the island. Most visitors arrive between December - May, which offers the sunniest, driest weather perfect for horse riding, biking and canyoning. From June to November, the rainy season ushers in wetter weather and high humidity, with the possibility of hurricanes and storms from August - November.
