What our clients say

97% of our clients rated their experience with us as Excellent or Good.

"This was our second trip with you and we have again been very pleased with the whole experience: if we are going to spend such a lot of money on a holiday, we want to know that the company are real experts, and that everything will be done efficiently and professionally. Thank you."

"Cuba exceeded my expectations : it is beautiful architecturally and naturally, fascinating historically, politically and economically and so full of life. Thanks to JLA for letting me get under the skin of Cuba just a little."

How, if at all, could your holiday have been improved? "I could not imagine that my holiday could have been better."

"Cuba is changing, so go now before it's too late. Take in the Music and Dance on every Street Corner. Beautiful people, and a hard won Socialist ideal."

Highlights? "There were many. Cuba itself is a fascinating country, a unique combination of geography, history, politics, culture and music. Highlights include: horse riding through the Valle de Silencio in Vinales, riding in an old American convertible car in Havana, visiting the Che Guevara Mausoleum and the Bay of Pigs Museum, numerous meals and drinks in restaurants and bars with great live music as a soundtrack to the tour, the intoxicating atmosphere walking along Obispo in Havana, a microcosm of Cuban life, the beautiful, faded architecture, different in each town we visited, the number of working horses everywhere, the resilience of Cubans in the face of grinding poverty and a repressive regime, spontaneous music performed everywhere at any time."

“Everything, from the planning, through to the actual journey, was excellently arranged. All connections were smooth and punctual and there was detailed information disseminated at every stage.”

"I saw hummingbirds, swam in the Caribbean, had a ride in a 1952 bright pink chevrolet and had guava and pineapple for breakfast. There was music, fun and sunshine everywhere. Our guide wanted us to meet her favourites - musicians, craftsmen, service people, who all had passion."

“One of my favourite moments on the trip was in Trinidad, listening to the music and dancing with the locals – with the tour leader’s guidance or walking around Havana, just taking everything in.”

Most memorable experience/aspect of your trip? "There are several - riding in different types of transportation i.e. coco cabs, bike taxi, American Chevy etc. The plantation walk in Vinales, meals arranged by the tour leader in paradors and the knowledge of the local guides."

"Dancing at Cafe Taberna in Havana; going to the ballet in Havana on our last night. Both occasions unforgettable. But there were other highlights such as swimming in the Banos de San Juan, outside Las Terrazas; eating at El Paraiso (near Vinales) whilst watching the sun set; staying at Las Terrazas; going for an amazing massage in Trinidad; the trip in a Vintage car whilst in Havana; learning about the history and politics of the country, most particularly the Revolution; reading Graham Greene's Our Man In Havana whilst sitting on a terrace watching a thunderstorm in Trinidad."
