Rafiki tented camp is glamping inspired by South African upmarket tented camps, featuring furnished fixed tents which offer a true sense of proximity to the natural world.

Rafiki Safari Lodge is a South-African-influenced, top-of-the-range tented camp and conservation project on the banks of River Savegre, south of Manuel Antonio on Costa Rica's jungle-fringed Pacific coast and epitomising the current trend for "glamping".

The large fixed tents, accommodating couples, friends or families are really comfortable, with electricity, proper beds and linen and spacious plumbed-in private bathrooms. Each has views of the surrounding mountains from a private, covered terrace. This along with the large windows and natural soundtrack of bird and monkey calls, insect chirruping and gushing water ensures a sense of proximity to the natural world, The bar and restaurant offer breakfast and a traditional South African barbecue.

The surrounding rugged scenery is lush and beautiful with rivers, waterfalls and forests to explore. Enjoy the lodge's facilities or take optional activities and excursions, such as river rafting, horse riding and hiking.
