Horse riding to La Fortuna Falls
Ascend through tropical forest on horseback to arrive at a 70m waterfall in a spectacular setting.
La Fortuna plunges down from a height of 70m into a forest amphitheatre smothered in emerald foliage. You can reach it on horseback, setting off from a small farm to ride across pastureland and into the tropical rainforest before ascending to a magnificent viewpoint over the tumbling falls.
To reach the waterfall itself, continue on foot along a jungle trail. You can stop for a refreshing swim in the plunge pool at the foot of the falls or relax beside the river bank before returning.
