When's the best time to visit Los Llanos?

Los Llanos is a year-round destination; wildlife is in evidence every moth of the year. You may wish to avoid the rainiest months, July and August.

Spanish.

How do I get local currency in Colombian Los Llanos?

Colombian Peso. There are banks and ATMs in Yopal where notes in local currency can be withdrawn using a UK credit or debit card. However we recommend that you bring pesos with you from your previous destination, and US dollars cash which can be exchanged locally.
