Casa de Helda
Welcoming small guesthouse in a superbly located, rambling 18th century house with a shady courtyard garden at its heart.
The welcoming, small Casa de Helda is a converted 18th century house superbly located in Cartagena's colonial centre, just a few steps from pretty Santo Toribio church. Behind a fairly modest colonial façade is an immaculate, large and rambling property centring around a shady central courtyard garden festooned with plants. It has seven simple high-ceilinged rooms, all slightly different in size. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but does serve a good breakfast on the patio.
