Tayrona Eco Habs Canaveral
Unique, eco-conscious beachfront cluster of thatched cabins inspired by indigenous design, each with two floors and idyllic sea views.
The unique beachfront Tayrona Eco Habs Canaveral consists of a cluster of delightful whitewashed, thatched cabins inspired by traditional indigenous design, all split level and with views of the Caribbean. It’s a great choice for the eco-conscious, as well as an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding boulder-strewn, palm-shaded coves of Tayrona National Park, with its tropical forests tumbling down to the sea across an idyllic series of sandy beaches.
The lower level of each cabin houses an outdoor bathroom, terrace and hammocks, while the upper level houses the bedroom. As befits the barefoot vibe of their location, inside they are simple in style, but shiny polished wood and draped linens increase the sense of romance, and they are even equipped with modern gadgets such as flat-screen TVs and iPod docks.

“The Eco-Habs are brilliant.”JK, Basingstoke
Cabaña was beautiful with views over the sea. Lighting was low level so reading in room at night was difficult. Overall a great place to stay but a warning to anyone who is unfit, the cabañas are up a steep hill and we were in the top one! Restaurant was very attractive with proper linen and good table service.MD, London
