A striking, contemporary boutique hotel offers luxurious accommodation overlooking the pacific Ocean in Valparaiso.
The two striking buildings composing the eye-catching Palacio Astoreca, with dazzling red and white façades, have made a bold impression on the hills of Valparaiso, Chile’s foremost port. This hotel is a fine base for the city, perfectly positioned to explore its labyrinth of narrow streets and alleyways.
With 23 guest rooms it is quite large to be called a boutique hotel, but it is idiosyncratic enough to fall into that self-appointed category. Bedrooms look out over the port to the ocean beyond, and are decorated in a contemporary style with slatted wood in pale washed-out colours befitting a seaside establishment. The facilities and amenities are comprehensive and top-rate: there is library, a spa and an al fresco terrace where you can savour the restaurant menu (open high season only).
What our clients say
97% of our clients rated their experience with us as Excellent or Good.
Wonderful old building with a history and great location. Some practical aspects on the restoration, our room was small, the cutlery was not entirely practical in the restaurant(too much emphasis on the design rather than use)JW, London
