The innovative eco-lodge Remota offers distinctive cutting edge accommodation close to the Patagonian highlights of Last Hope Sound and Torres del Paine National Park.
The striking Remota ecolodge certainly takes the breath away at first sight. Uncompromisingly contemporary, it was designed by an award-winning architect to blend seamlessly with its waterside wilderness setting within easy reach of Torres del Paine National Park. The 70 guest rooms make no secret of their modern design, but feature Patagonian stone, aromatic native wood and discreet artefacts.
You’ll be delighted by the top quality cuisine, inspired by organic ingredients - locally sourced fish and Patagonian lamb, served in the airy restaurant which offers magnificent mountain views from huge picture windows. But it’s the outdoor adventures which will win prime place in your holiday memories: guided mountain hikes, kayaking among icebergs, glacial lake boat trips, horse rides, mountain biking, birdwatching and fly-fishing with worldwide known specialists. All meticulously planned with your individual needs and preferences in mind.
What our clients say
97% of our clients rated their experience with us as Excellent or Good.
We have travelled a lot in our lifetime but nothing prepares you for the breadth of landscapes that you will encounter in Chile. We had three weeks there and felt we only scratched the surface.CM
Most memorable experience: "So much but probably Torres del Paine, breathtakingly beautiful and not crowded although it was the busiest part of the year. Also the friendliness of the people, and lack of hassle everywhere- the only place where there was a bit was in the fish market in Santiago, but even there it was very low key and the people were not at all pushy."MT, Henley-on-Thames
Highlights: Valparaiso was stunning and Vina Santa Cruz a pleasant, relaxing surprise.MS, Shaftesbury
Our experience at Patagonia Camp was the most memorable part of the trip. Everyone at the camp really cared for the place and the experience they were providing for their clients, from the restaurant staff to the reception staff to the guides. They were all delightful to deal with and the guides in particular deserve special mention for their knowledge and commitment to the preservation of the TdP National Park and the ethos of the camp.RE, Knutsford
From the point of view of JLA's organisation of our trip, the most memorable feature was the quality of the many small hotels we stayed in and the unforgettable views we so often had from our rooms. From the point of view of the trip itself, the most memorable places were 6 days of Torres del Paine in glorious sunshine and the indescribably wild and beautiful Southern Ocean.KB, Esher
Mount Fitz Roy and Los Torres, particularly the Pliegue tumblado walk.DS, Leatherhead
The Alto Plano of Bolivia was striking. Torres del Paine national park too was memorable as was Perito Moreno glacier.GOR,
Chile was AMAZING!!! We loved the country, the scenery and all the people we met. Glad we had warm clothes for the trip or we would have come unstuck in Atacama, especially when going to the geysers as it was minus ten degrees. As we approached the cruise time we wondered if we'd cope with the Zodiacs, but everyone was so helpful and safety conscious. The all-time highlight of so many on our holiday was, standing in silence at the Pia Glacier.RW, Cyprus
