Hotel Las Torres
Remote lodge on a cattle ranch just below Las Torres themselves – the iconic granite 'towers' of the Torres del Paine massif. Offers inclusive packages combining accommodation, meals, excursions and transfers.
Hotel Las Torres is a remote lodge and former cattle ranch just below the dramatic, vertical 'towers' of the Torres del Paine massif – there is no more iconic location in Patagonia. It is very well run and organised, operating packages with meals, excursions and road transfers all included.
Some rooms are a bit chintzy, others have a bold colour scheme or are furnished in light wood, but all are warm and cosy. There is a spacious lounge area with large picture windows to fully take advantage of the mountain scenery. Wood-burning stoves provide heating and the central focal point for chilly evenings. There is also a restaurant which uses ingredients from the lodge's own vegetable garden and a small spa offering sauna, massage, reflexology and mud therapy.

Food, location absolutely stunning and brilliant.GB, Eastleigh
What can we say other than Wow!! Lovely hotel in the most fantastic location. Staff great, atmosphere excellent and range of excursions superb.AM, Lymington
"Room and location was excellent."NL, Dursley
First impression, was that the hotel was much larger and more corporate than we had expected. After a settling in night we found all aspects to be outstanding. Food, excursions and guides were excellent. Highly recommendedIP, Guildford
"Only comment is that it was EXTREMELY hot in the room. Which is a bit picky. This place is one of the best places on earth - we loved it and were sad to leave."TEB, Grays
Amazing place!Loved it there.Good food,helpful staff.IC, Leigh-On-Sea
large complex. Definitley a hikers hotel. Poor menu in main restaurant. would be better to stick to good plain food rather than trying to be gourmet. ...Activities were Brilliant!Guides were very knowledgable and helpful. Saw a puma which is something I will always remember!LM, Stowmarket
"We only used the activities at Torres once and did our own walking routes on the other days. The one activity we did was excellent. We would have liked to do the horse riding but did not have time. It would be useful have a copy of activities available on the first day as it takes time to get your head around what is going on.”SB, Bradford
Guides, staff and activities fantastic. Bar and food excellent. Great stay.BL, Tunbridge wells
We really liked this hotel/resort.CF, Tring
Very nice rooms. They struggled a bit with heating levels. Some of the corridors were very hot but the main bar area was frequently cold. (I don't think we made ourselves popular when we asked for the wood stove to be lit again one night when my husband had a cold!) When we came to pay our bill for the few extras, there was some form of surcharge for paying in Chilean currency which seemed odd.CJ, Twickenham
Best hotel on the whole trip. Everything about it was just perfect.Could spend a whole holiday here. Location idyllic. Everything was relaxed and friendlySB, Solihul
Exceeded our expectations - food better than expected and service excellent - except in the bar area where service was so bad it was actually funny. Excursions great and food - especially the BBQ excellent.AH, Northampton
"A top notch hotel in every way. Good rooms, great food, wine and service all in the all inclusive tariff. Good variety of excursions with knowledgeable, enthusiastic guides also all inclusive. Exceptional value."RG, Braunton
Comfortable room with stunning view of the mountain. Very clean. At breakfast a big choice with lots of fruit and nuts. the food in both restaurants was very good. A good range of excursions of different levels of difficulty with very knowledgeable guides. I liked the educational programme and the evening talks and the organic garden. There is a lovely spa which I could have made use of had the weather been worse.AD, Cambridge
"Wonderful hotel in a fantastic position. Staff excellent."DC, Worthing
Nice place and staff very helpful. Nice, friendly, helpful guides. Pity that there wasn't a better choice of food for veggies.PH, St. helens
Highlights: Torres del Paine, especially the horse ride and walk to the base of the towers. Doing the first 2 hours on horse back (very slow and safe horses even if you have never ridden before like me) makes this accessible for anyone who is reasonably fit whereas walking the whole way might be beyond some people (min 4 hours each way and 2.000 ft+ up)VH Hindhead
Superb hotel in superb location - highly recommended.RH, Carshalton
Excellent (amazing) guides. Very good reception staff. Great location average food.SU, London
Luxury room, good public spaces and helpful and friendly staff. On-site 'performance space' is a bonus - we greatly enjoyed the show 'Hain', inspired by the Selk'Nam culture.RF, Kendal
Extremely comfortable. Fantastic availability of excursions. An added bonus that there are horses on site. Stunning location.CH, London
Outstanding in all respects. A good range of excursions and activities. Excellent dining room.KB, Esher
"This was a truly amazing experience! We preferred the food in the bar in the evening to the restaurant buffet. If we ever go back to South America we will make sure a return visit is on the itinerary. We would have benefited with some prior knowledge of how the tipping system works though!"EI,Scarborough
Tours were excellent with snacks and drinks etc staff worked really hard and friendly.JB, Mansfield
Perfectly located and good fun to stay here. Rather oddly the food and service in the bar is better than the restaurant. The guides are excellent but reception staff lack knowledge about general aspects of the hotel. However, all the staff are lovely to deal with.PR, Keswick
This was a special place to stay and we enjoyed it greatly and took advantage of every minute possible. The only criticism was that the service from the kitchen varied considerably. The first evening was excellent but the following two evenings it slowed considerably.JW, London
A busy and larger hotel than the others but it had good atmosphere, especially in the bar area (did not use the restaurant). Prices for food and drink reflected the location and lack of options.SB, Milnthorpe
"Overall a great place to stay but bar and restaurant staff are unfriendly. However our compliments to chef for cooking us special dietary meal."JS, Harrow
