Hotel Cabo de Hornos
Centrally-located Cabo de Hornos is a classically styled hotel promising high standards of accommodation and service.
Hotel Cabo de Hornos, situated in a large prestigious building on the central Plaza de Armas, is one of Punta Arenas’ venerable institutions, for decades the most upmarket hotel in town. Nowadays there is some competition but it remains an excellent choice for comfort and good quality rooms and amenities. The hotel has a classic design and approach, and is perhaps a little formal (welcoming both business and leisure travellers), as befitting its longstanding reputation.
The 110 rooms are set on seven floors. Each room has a bathtub in the bathroom. There are double, triple and rooms appropriate for families. The ground floor restaurant holds regular themed evenings with frequently changing menu. Other facilities include a sauna, bar and small museum.
