Hotel Pantanal Norte
Simple but comfortable Pantanal lodge best known as a base for jaguar spotting trips.
The simple but comfortable Hotel Porto Jofre, known for its jaguar spotting trips and for the plentiful catches that attract fishing enthusiasts, is attractively situated on the banks of the Cuiabá river. The large fruit trees in its grounds are popular with hyacinth macaws, while a jetty leads out to a lagoon caparisoned with enormous Victoria Regia lilies.
The spacious and neutrally furnished guestrooms are arranged in orderly rows of chalets. Each has a veranda with river or garden views. There's an outdoor swimming pool, gift shop and restaurant where meals are served Brazilian buffet style.
