What our clients say
97% of our clients rated their experience with us as Excellent or Good.
It was our first experience of small group travel, and although on balance we prefer independant travel, to cover as many countries as we did, we couldn t have done it on our own!

So many highlights. Corcovado Mountain and the Cristo Redento statue in Rio was a truly spiritual experience. Bolivia as a whole completely exceeded our expectations. Machu Picchu is such an extraordinary sight - its location and setting are hard to comprehend.

There were so many highlights and wows that it is difficult to say. Macchu Picchu lived up to our expectations and Bolivia was a truly unexpected surprise. Loved Rio and the Iguazu Falls.

The first view of Machu Picchu from the watchman's tower, the view from El Alto overlooking La Paz and surrounding mountains and the Iguazu Falls will remain with me always. Also very pleased with the standard of accommodation.
Overall this was the most interesting and varied holiday I have ever been on and was a superb introduction to what was, for me, a new area of the world.

Our most memorable moments were the views in Rio, the Iguassu Falls, the initial impressions of La Paz, Copacabana and Puno (especially the hotel in Puno with its views of the Lake), the Andean Explorer and Sacred Valley train journeys and the magnificence of the Andes and Macchu Picchu.

This was a truly great experience with JLA and having a local guide with us all the way made it very easy. It was a very relaxed way to see an amazing part of the world.

The boat trip to the base of the Iguacu falls Argentinian side was exhilarating and awesome. The visit to Machu Pichu was even more impressive than we expected - our optional walk to the Inca bridge in the late afternoon was unforgettable.

The Iguacu Falls were spectacular and most likely the most impressive Falls I will ever see. We were absolutely spellbound by the magnitude, scale and layout. Obviously, Machu Picchu takes your breath away. Nature and man-made wonders at their best!

The trip surpassed our expectations and I have already recommended Journey Latin America to friends and even to people I talked to on a bus in Machu Picchu, one of whom was from the U.S.A.
The tour was well paced for our age group with enough leisure time to do your own thing or just chill. One of the best holidays I have ever been on. Well done and thank you all.

Even though I had seen countless photographs of Iguazu Falls and Machu Picchu when I first saw the sights I was reduced to a , 'Wow!' every few minutes.

We enjoyed all our excursions. Rio was a great start. The views from the Sugar Loaf were quite spectacular. Likewise the trips at both sides of the Iguazu Falls provided stunning scenery and of course Machu Picchu which even surpassed our epectations. Our first optional excursion was fascinating - up Corcovado. We also thoroughly enjoyed our helicopter trip over the falls, and the day trip to Potosi - a different and very interesting trip with lots to see.We also enjoyed visiting Moon Valley with its varied and interesting formations and in contrast going in to Lima. Every trip was worthwhile and enjoyable.
