Ojo de Perdiz

Cluster of thatch-roofed cabins resembling a tiny desert hamlet in an extraordinary setting, offering basic but tremendously atmospheric accommodation.

With its cluster of thatch-roofed cabins resembling a tiny desert hamlet, Ojo de Perdiz is a basic but tremendously atmospheric place to stay. This simple guesthouse is the only guest accommodation in the area, providing essential shelter and respite during the long crossing of the salar and altiplano.

Set amidst arid scrubland in the shadow of undulating umber mountains, the guestrooms offer limited comforts but are attractively decorated in a rustic style, with adobe walls and local textiles in rich earthy tones.
