Hotel la Mision

La Mision

Smart colonial style hotel close to the centre of San Ignacio, convenient for visits to the UNESCO restored mission church.

This pleasant two-storey hotel, well located for a visit to the town and mission church, is just off the main plaza of San Ignacio de Velasco, a 5-6 hour bucolic drive from Santa Cruz. The design and décor capture the heritage and atmosphere of the restored UNESCO Jesuit missions. Built in traditional Spanish style with columns of carved wood which depict the local history, the hotel has spacious patios with lush, neat gardens that create a peaceful ambiance.

The 32 comfortable, colonial-style rooms and suites include a private bathroom, minibar, air-conditioning, TV and telephone. The hotel welcomes small conferences, so it features a business centre and small fitness room as well as a pretty, surprisingly decent-sized outdoor swimming pool.

What our clients say

97% of our clients rated their experience with us as Excellent or Good.

"Very nice but not suitable for the rainy season as the public areas (lobby and restaurant) are open-sided and consequently very cold and we ended up wearing fleeces/coats to eat dinner. The bedrooms are lovely but lack any heating, which was rather uncomfortable. The gardens, staff etc were all very nice."
