Where to go when - our guide to Lake Titicaca – Bolivian side

Lake Titicaca

The weather in Lake Titicaca – Bolivian side is wide and varied

lass="c-where-to-go__overview__content-text">Straddled between Peru and Bolivia, Lake Titicaca is the world’s highest navigable lake, standing at a staggering 3,812m. From the Bolivian side you can explore tranquil sapphire and golden islands, as well as the floating reed islands inhabited by the indigenous Uros people. Thanks to the high altitude, temperatures here can be chilly at any time of year. For the clearest views, it is best to visit during the dry, sunny winter months from April - October.
