House of Jasmines
House of Jasmines is a luxury countryside hotel in the Andean foothills of Argentina.
House of Jasmines is an elegant hotel set on a large estancia with views over the Andean foothills. It is a luxurious and very romantic property - one of the distinguished Relais and Chateaux portfolio.
The property features has a gorgeous combination of cream walls, white linen and modern leather furniture. You enter straight into the welcoming living room area, made cosy with an open fireplace. In fact, it does not feel like a hotel at all; there is no reception, there's only a small desk with free internet access at the rear of the building.
The hotel offers just seven snug guest rooms including two suites with a huge outside terrace. There is a communal dining room with one large table so that guests can mingle while al fresco dining can also be arranged on an outside terrace. The food has a distinctly regional bias and cooking lessons can be organised. There is also a spa (open to the public), a short walk away with a Finnish bath, sauna and massage.

This was our first trip to South America and most definitely will not be the last. And we will be travelling with yourselves again. It was an extremely varied trip and we enjoyed every bit . However we especially loved all the natural beauty and wonders of Patagonia and the Iguazú region .LH, Altrincham
Difficult to identify (the highlights of my self drive holiday)... I would highlight the interest of the looping drive down the mountains to the west....watching the leaves of the roadside foliage increase in size as the temperature rose was mesmerising. I would suggest that the pleasure of long drives through changing countryside is one of the unsung pleasures of such holidays as mine. But perhaps that's just lazy old me!RS, Salisbury
The estancia stay was wonderful, and a really special place to spend my 30th birthday - I was thoroughly spoilt! Our trip to Quebrada de Humahuaca with Juan was also fantastic. It was also great to see the diversity of the country, and the beautiful Iguazu falls.JK, North Shields
We have had a great holiday in Argentina, partly organised by JLA and would certainly recommend JLA to anyone that wants to have such a trip, as they provided very good knowledge of the areas we visited and good organisation.LS, Zurich
We loved all of it, we really enjoyed the scenery of Humahuaca Gorge and the drive to Cafayate. Iguazu falls are incredible also and a definite highlight....We found our whole holiday experience excellent. It was nice to be able to see so much in 2 weeks whilst still feeling relaxed as we were looked after so well by all our guides. The personal itinerary and help we received made a huge difference to us and we were impressed by the standard of all our hotels. The only problem was that we wished we had longer so we could of seen more.HB, Abingdon
Most Memorable Moment?: Impossible to say, as each element was so different from the rest. La Bamba certainly will leave an enduring memory. Just the way to chill out after a fairly busy itinerary.AD, London
