Where to go when - our guide to Ibera wetlands

Estancia Rincon del Socorro

The weather in Ibera wetlands is wide and varied

lass="c-where-to-go__overview__content-text">These marshy wetlands are home to caiman, otters, howler monkeys and wolves, plus hundreds of species of bird. Weather wise this is a year-round destination, though the temperature grows extremely hot during summer (Dec - Feb) which can be uncomfortable. Autumn (March - May) and spring (September - November) bring cooler climates more suited to exploring the floating islands, lagoons and silvery streams of this protected nature reserve. In winter, temperatures drop to 20°C and wildlife is more subdued. The most rain falls between October and April, and a deluge of colourful birds migrate en masse between September and April.
