OUR GUIDE TO the weather in the Cordoba and the Central Sierras
The rolling hills and pampas plains of this region are ideal for horse riding, while Córdoba is an upbeat city with a beautifully preserved colonial centre to wander in. This region can be visited year round, though there are significant seasonal weather variations. The summer months December - February are hot and uncomfortably humid, while the winter June - August sees temperatures drop significantly and the days grow cold. The pleasant shoulder seasons of spring and autumn are the ideal times to visit, particularly for outdoor activities such as horse riding and polo.
