La Cascada Casa Patagonica
Beautifully situated hotel with a pleasantly secluded feel and a traditional, rather English style which makes one soon feel at home.
We love La Cascada’s setting, perched high above the shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi in Argentina’s lake district, and there’s a rather English familiarity to its appearance which makes one soon feel at home.
The hotel is conveniently located a short drive from downtown Bariloche, yet feels pleasantly secluded. La Cascada’s style is traditional, without quirky design features or boutique pretentions, and guestrooms are cosy and comfortable. For a lake view you should book a superior room, but everyone can enjoy splendid views from the hotel’s terrace and restaurant.
There’s an attractive indoor pool, and the lakeshore is just a short, steep walk down from the hotel.

Lovely gardens and views
“La Cascada was a delight! Open, airy, pleasant lounges, lovely gardens and lake views and the wooded area with the eponymous ‘cascada'."SG, Liverpool
“La Cascada Hotel was very generous regarding our anniversary, it was hospitable and their pool was very clean and the only one we used. Despite the fact the hotel needs some updating, its location is superb and the hospitality made our stay very pleasant.”TM, Oakwood
"A rather quaint hotel but in a good location overlooking the lake and with comfortable and pleasant public seating areas We had an enormous room with a good view."IAR,Melrose
We stayed here once before and it is still a delightful place The staff are really top class. They no longer serve a full dinner We were advised by Jamie. The Steak House opposite is a very good option. As the hotel is some 6Km out of town a bus or taxi is needed. Both readily available. A small inconvenience compared with the comfort and setting. A Lake View room is a real advantage if the stay is more than 1/2 nights.JH Wirral
Our room was double aspect on the first floor on the corner with fantastic views of the lake. Very friendly staff.MM, Holt
"Lovely hotel with beautiful views. Receptionist excellent"DC, Worthing

Two magnificent views
“We were upgraded to a suite at La Cascada with two magnificent views over the lake. The breakfast was excellent and so was the service.”LL, Bexley
"We liked this one - a bit quirky but interesting and rather homely."RW, Cobham
"Very comfortable hotel, with an interesting history. Good location on road to Llao Llao -- it would have been nice to have been given advice on how to use buses beforehand, but we soon found out! Nice gardens going down to private beach, and very quiet in rooms as hotel set well within its grounds below the main road."JS,Worcester
“Fantastic hotel, perfect for a mid tour break, good food wonderful location, lovely room.”JK, Bournemouth
