What Is Your Favourite...
Place...
Torres del Paine, Patagonia – The scenery here is some of the best I have ever seen and the hiking opportunities are fantastic, particularly if the weather is on your side! I stayed at Patagonia Camp in luxury yurts and it was wonderful being so close to nature in such breath-taking surroundings.
Hotel
Pacuare Lodge, Costa Rica –Pacuare Lodge is my favourite luxury eco-lodge with excellent staff, top-quality food and cocktails as well as unforgettable wildlife and adventure activities. The 2 hour rafting in was a very memorable experience and the Linda Vista Villa was beautifully designed with a private plunge pool, wrap around terrace, indoor and outdoor showers and a four poster canopy bed – it is well worth the upgrade!
Excursion
Big Ice, Perito Moreno glacier in Patagonia – I was a bit nervous about this excursion with the howling winds the night before, but I’m so glad I did it! There is something about ice trekking on one of the largest and most renowned glaciers in the world which is very rewarding!
Top Travel Tip
Make the most of your excursions – don’t be afraid to ask questions and get to know your guides, their knowledge is second to none and they can really enhance your overall experience!

Top Packing Tip
Make sure you have waterproofs, comfortable walking shoes and a good-sized day pack for when you are out and about – I learnt the hard way! Even if you don’t plan on hiking, city tours and other excursions can often mean you are often on your feet and having what you need can make a big difference.
