Free Machu Picchu Guide

The 24th of this month will mark a century to the day since American explorer Hiram Bingham stumbled upon one of the world’s greatest surviving wonders. Machu Picchu’s mountain-shrouded location had hidden it from Spanish invaders, leaving the citadel a virtually intact testament to the Inca people who once ruled over the surrounding lands, and whose ancestors had kept the city’s very existence a closely guarded secret for centuries.

Today of course you can share in the Incas’ secret, and to celebrate Machu Picchu’s big milestone we have teamed up with Lonely Planet to offer a free downloadable Machu Picchu guide for every reader. The guide is taken from the brand new Lonely Planet Discover Peru guide, part of a new range distilling Lonely Planet's trademark expertise down to the must-see highlights of each country so that no matter what your time frame or budget, you won't miss the best bits.

To get your free guide just click here and follow the instructions.
