Hacienda Pinsaquí

The hacienda is located 15 minutes' drive north of Otavalo. Founded in 1790 as a textile mill, in later times it hosted many illustrious guests including Simon Bolívar.

The proprietors have brought back most of the antique furniture from France and Spain. The 28 rooms have fireplaces and are cosily furnished with rich fabrics.

Our comment

"Rambling corridors, oversized fireplaces and rooms that vary in size, shape and standard but somehow it's the rough edges and quirks which lend Pinsaquí its charm." Katie Phillips, Consultant, Tailor-made Tours
