This secluded mid-range lodge is is situated on the shores of tranquil Lake Petén, 45 minutes from the majestic Mayan site of Tikal. and kayaks as well as mountain bikes can be hired.
There are 56 bright rooms within octagonal blocks or cabins, each with ceiling fan, private bathroom and small balcony with lake views. Facilities include an attractive swimming pool (with smaller plunge pool), thatched restaurant and a bar overlooking the lake. They want to keep the vibe as peaceful as possible so there is no TV or phone.
There are many well-marked tracks to explore and lots of wildlife including monkeys.
