Are our Essential Value Holidays for you?

You are independent-minded travellers looking for a short, value for money holiday where you will have the opportunity to see the top sights of a Latin American country but also the freedom to organise your excursions yourselves.  You'd like to pick up a local bus or a taxi, so you can decide when and for how long you make your visit, or book a tour locally. Maybe you just want to relax at a destination without the need to explore further: you'd like it to be up to you.

With you in mind we have created our 'Essential' Value Holidays. We take you to our most popular destinations and you embark on a simple holiday itinerary where you'll visit some of the country's main highlights. All your main travelling arrangements will have been pre-arranged. At each destination, you'll be met and taken to your pre-booked hotel, especially chosen for its moderate prices and value for money.

You are then free to use your own time at your discretion, although we do include an excursion to a sight that we feel should definitely not be missed. But you can rest assured that your hotels, transfers and any local fights are pre-booked and monitored by us, and our local travel partners will be within contact.

These holidays can be bought 'off-the-peg' at the price quoted or, since they are not group trips and therefore can be tailored to individual requirements, you can ask us to tweak them by upgrading your room (or hotel), or by adding excursions or even destinations to the basic itinerary. If you are a single traveller, the holiday may cost a little more. Where appropriate, we'd be happy to quote for families.

We have not included fixed international flights in the cost of the holiday because of seasonal fluctuations and regular price changes, but our 'from' price will give you a good 'ball park' idea of what the price might be. Please discuss your needs with your Journey Latin America consultant who will endeavour to find the most appropriate flights.
