Mexico, with its big landscapes and good modern network of paved roads, is ideal for independent exploration by self-drive car hire. No more so than in the highland colonial cities loop and on the Pacific coast. Your hire car is provided and your point-to point itinerary planned out for you, with hotel reservations made in advance and maps provided.

This holiday can also be taken with a car and driver, in which case guided city tours are included in Querétaro, Guanajuato and Morelia.

Holiday Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer Mexico City,2 nights.
Day 2: City tour.
Day 3: Your car is delivered, drive to Guanajuato via Querétaro, 2 nights.
Day 4: At leisure in Guanajuato.
Day 5: Drive to Morelia via Pátzcuaro. 2 nights.
Day 6: At leisure in Morelia.
Day 7: Drive to Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, 4 nights.
Day 8: At leisure in Zihuatanejo.
Day 9: At leisure in Zihuatanejo.
Day 10: At leisure in Zihuatanejo.
Day 11: Fly to Mexico City, 1 night.
Day 12: Transfer to airport.

Owing to many clients' preference for flexibility, and the variation in flight price according to season and availability, the price quoted excludes the cost of international flights, which we will happily arrange for you. Flights to Latin America can be daytime or overnight, while the return flight is always overnight, so you will need to add at least one day to arrive at the total length of your holiday.
