There are usually a couple of resident otters at the lodge. Its 5 basic clay cottages have twin beds, veranda, and most, private bathroom with cold water showers.

Meals are served communally around a large dining table in the living room of the main ranch house.

Excursions involve trips into the savannah to view wildlife, by boat, foot or 4WD. There are opportunities to fish, spot caiman alligator, and view the opening of Victoria Amazonica water lilies.
