Following a brief flight to Sierpe, you will board a motor-launch for a one and a half-hour trip through the largest mangrove forest system on the Pacific Coast. Upon arrival there’s a short, steep walk up to the Lodge.
Although not ocean facing, the ten individually styled cabins (including family options) are surrounded by the boundless beauty of a biological system that has been protected since 1975.
Corcovado National Park is home to 350 different bird types and numerous mammals, including endangered species such as the puma.
The beach is only a short walk away and activities such as scuba diving, sport fishing and sea kayaking can be easily arranged (at additional cost).
There is a trip to see the offshore ancient Indian burial site at Cano Island, where you will also be able to snorkel among the reefs and picnic on one of the untouched beaches. |
