Honeymoon

When to go
placeholder image 1

It is impossible to generalise when it comes to the climate of Latin America as a whole, so in the guide below we’ve split the region into distinct climate zones to help you to quickly and easily check that the month in which you’re planning to travel is a good time to visit your chosen destination.

One tick indicates a good time to travel, while two ticks designate the very optimum months. We have placed a cross against the months when the area will not be at its best (purely from a climate perspective) – this usually coincides with the rainy season or cooler temperatures and does not necessarily mean you should avoid a visit altogether. We’ve included links to more detailed climate information to help you decide.

You can also scan the columns vertically to find the ideal destinations to visit in the month of your honeymoon if you are looking for ideas.

As usual with our climate advice, this information is intended as a general guide only – weather conditions may vary from seasonal norms and many areas have a number of microclimates.

And still others may decide to swap the destination they originally had in mind for one offering similar attractions but better weather conditions at the time of year – our expert consultants will be happy to advise.
