A visit to Peru would not be complete without venturing into the Amazon, and the Tambopata region of the rainforest is easy to get to from Cusco. We recommend extending your holiday with a three-night stay at one of the many jungle lodges in the area.

Alternatively you can explore more of Northern Peru: you can easily combine Sipán with Cajamarca or the remote ruins of Kuelap, or wind-down on the beach at Mancora.
