Our ultra-professional and experienced local operator will take you along the ever-popular Inca Trail to Machu Picchu,one of the world’s top treks. Led by a qualified guide and with fully-supported camping, hike through narrow valleys and across the flanks of the Andes mountains to high-altitude passes. There are panoramic views of snow-splashed peaks while you follow the Inca paved pathway through a string of ancient settlements and temples to the Sun Gate and Machu Picchu.

Suggested Holiday Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Lima, Peru. Overnight.
Day 2: Fly to Cusco.
Day 3: Half-day walking city tour of the city.
Day 4: Drive to upland colonial villages and Inca ruins at Chinchero, Moray and Maras, and visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Overnight in Ollantaytambo.
Day 5: Guided hike of the Inca Trail. Camp.
Day 6: Guided hike of the Inca Trail. Camp.
Day 7: Guided hike of the Inca Trail. Camp.
Day 8: Explore  Machu Picchu. Overnight in Machu Picchu village (ex Aguas Calientes).
Day 9: Return to Cusco by train and bus.
Day 10: Transfer to airport.

Owing to many clients' preference for flexibility, and the variation in flight price according to season and availability, the price quoted excludes the cost of international flights, which we will happily arrange for you. Flights to Latin America can be daytime or overnight, while the return flight is always overnight, so you will need to add at least one day to arrive at the total length of your holiday.
