Tambopata Macaw Lick - Amazon highlights

5 days as part of a tailor-made holiday in Peru

Our 5-day jungle holiday takes you to the Tambopata Research Centre, a lodge situated in the pristine rainforest of the Bahuaja Sonene National Park, a short boat ride from what is reputedly the world’s largest macaw clay lick (ccolpa), which can be visited by up to six species of macaw and throngs of parakeets, creating an unforgettable spectacle of colour and sound.

This is an authentic jungle experience for those who don't mind sacrificing creature comforts to get a more intimate knowledge of the rainforest and jungle wildlife.
