Highlights of Peru: The classic Peru holiday

13 days from £1,577

This is our ultimate highlights holiday of Peru. In just a fortnight you'll experience the grandeur of Lima, the colonial atmosphere of Arequipa, the treasures of the Inca capital, Cusco. Explore the top Inca heritage sites, including Machu Picchu, and the most breathtaking natural sights of the country: the snow-capped Andes, the Sacred Valley and Lake Titicaca.

We've chosen our favourite places, excursions and hotels, all of which have been enthusiastically enjoyed by our clients. Here, you have a choice of standard and superior options; there is also a first class option. Our benchmarks are high: a "standard" option doesn't mean low quality or dull, and "first class" can sometimes be both really good value and truly luxurious.

You can view these options and, if you are happy with them, we welcome you to make a booking request online. But as with all our tailor-made holidays they are flexible: if you'd like to tweak the trip a bit, perhaps choose different hotels, or add in an extra place or visit or excursion, please contact us and one of our specialist consultants will help you come up with your perfect holiday.

Our Comment

I really think I can say that nobody is ever disappointed in Peru. It’s a magical place that satisfies most people’s idea of the quintessential Latin America: colour, history, colour, mystery, tradition, dramatic landscapes. If you only go once to Latin America – and we hope and are convinced you’ll be tempted to come back for more – then this could well be the trip you should make.
