We’ve combined volcanoes and cloud forests with a beautiful cruise on the clipper Star Flyer along the verdant Pacific coast to Panama City.  Relax in thermal springs under the shadow of the magnificent active Arenal volcano. Cruise on a traditional style sailing clipper past deserted islands dropping anchor at remote bays to search for wildlife, kayak or snorkel. Our journey ends in Panama City where the old and new rub shoulders beside Panama’s extraordinary Canal.

Owing to many clients' preference for flexibility, and the variation in flight price according to season and availability, the price quoted excludes the cost of international flights, which we will happily arrange for you. Flights to Latin America can be daytime or overnight, while the return flight is always overnight, so you will need to add at least one day to arrive at the total length of your holiday.

Our Comment

The mast, sails and rigging are all on this deck so you have to be aware of your surroundings and bear in mind you are on a large sailing vessel and not a cruise liner.  One of the most spectacular, if a little bit scary, experiences you can enjoy on the boat is to climb out along the bowsprit and get into the nets on the stern.
